In search for another tip for today I stumbled upon this match. Suddenly I remembered reading something about Polonia Warsaw recently, I looked it up and indeed: they didn't receive a license for next season and will have to relegate despite their 5th place. The team is in debts, and players don't get paid. Tonight they will play against Piast Gliwice, the 4th in the ranking, who are still fighting for a place in the Europe League.
Piast is having a very solid season, especially away from home, winning 8 of their 14 matches. In the last 12 games, they only lost once, which is pretty impressive. Polonia on the other hand had a bad run a while ago, losing 6 times in 7 games, but now they haven't lost in 4 matches. Their home record isn't very impressive, winning only 5 times in 14 games.
The season is over for Polonia Warsaw, they will relegate, and players won't be very motivated. Certainly not because they haven't got paid like they should. Piast Gliwice on the other hand needs to win this and is in a very good form, I expect them to win this one.
